The brand approached us to build a bespoke Airstream trailer that was sympathetic to their sustainable ethos, and we delivered the perfect solution!
From Friday 21st June to Saturday 31st August, Newbie is taking to the road and visiting major cities such as Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, Bristol, London and Sheffield. The two-month tour showcases the latest Newbie collection and provides an opportunity for customers to order items for next day delivery.
It includes free to attend events that nod to their Swedish heritage, as well as providing classic family fun and activities. From traditional Swedish lawn games and fika, to face painting, flower crown making and sing-and-sign classes, the brand are welcoming the whole family to join in and enjoy what’s on offer.
Promohire worked alongside big brother Raccoon to deliver this stunning conversion. We managed the whole process including the purchase of the trailer, the internal transformation and the exterior wrap. However, aside from creating a highly engaging pop-up shop, the crucial element was to ensure we could support the brand’s eco aspirations.
People and planet remain at the core of everything Newbie does, from the production of each new collection to launching the ‘Wear, Love, Give Back’ initiative across its UK stores. Newbie’s touring airstream is no different and so we looked to specify eco friendly materials throughout. To reduce the carbon footprint for the campaign, we recommended restoring an existing vehicle. We then used the world’s first non-PVC, high performing wrap film by 3M for the interior and exterior of the trailer. This is being used in conjunction with a matching 3M laminate, which also boasts the greenest of credentials. The Airstream wrap has also been printed with HP non-solvent inks.
In addition to delivering the Airstream, Promohire is also taking care of all of the campaign logistics and storing the vehicle in between events.
